Evidence in Transplantation (EVIT): increase your skills in evidence-based decision-making

EVIT course  (#EVIT2016) will be held at the Royal College of Surgeons in London on April 08-09, 2016. The interactive course consists of lectures and small group sessions.

The course is a joint organisation among the Centre for Evidence in Transplantation, ESOT, and the Clinical Effectiveness Unit (Royal College of Surgeons of England).

The course covers research methods needed to study the effectiveness of therapeutic procedures in organ transplantation, including:

- Introduction to evidence-based medicine
- Searching the medical literature
- Introduction to statistics for evidence appraisal
- Critical appraisal of clinical trials
- Systematic review and meta-analysis workshop

One month before the course all remaining rooms will be released. After this time participants can still book via e-mail/phone as before, however the rooms will also be available to the public.
