Description & Objectives:

ESOT announces the TLJ 2018 Programme (Transplantation Learning Journey), held from 6 to 10 November, 2018, in Munich, Germany.
Under the theme of “Transplant Learning Journey”, the TLJ 2018 will serve as a platform for speakers and participants to engage in a variety of presentations, dynamic discussions, networking opportunities, to lead a new platform in the field of transplantation.

The TLJ 2018 brings together 6 ESOT Sections&Committes (EDTCO, ECTTA, ETAHP, ELITA, EKITA, VCA), providing 5 days of continuous education, from Tuesday to Saturday. Education activities will be accredited.

Each Section/Committee is responsible for the development of its own Scientific Programme, providing to each participant the latest updates in the field, interaction and exchange with peers, abstracts submission, oral and poster presentations. Traditional, high quality programmes will be refreshed and will run in parallel with brand new educational appointments. Participants are invited to choose their Learning Journey path registering for the event proposed by their Section/Committee of interest and to take advantage from the variety of activities held in parallel, registering for more than one educational programme. Exchanges with colleagues of other fields will be encouraged through networking activities during the TLJ week.

Target Group:


The TLJ 2018 programme has been designed to cover the educational needs of all fields in healthcare and research with an affiliation in transplantation. All healthcare professionals with an involvement in treatment of organ failure, cell therapy, tissue and regenerative medicine are also warmly welcome to join the Programme.
Each scientific programme is targeted to a specific audience, developed and expanded by the relevant Section/Committee to disclose and discuss all latest updates in the field of:
cardiothoracic transplantation (ECTTA); organ and tissue donation and coordination, intensive care and emergency medicine, end of life care (EDTCO); kidney transplantation (EKITA); liver transplantation (ELITA); allied healthcare professionals activities (ETAHP); vascularized composite allotransplantation (VCA).
